Mental health is part of everything we do, but sometimes getting support in that area isn’t enough.  There are many times when people struggle with very specific issues, and need guidance and support in a different or additional area.  


Below is a list of different organisations that offer a multitude of supports.


Alcoholics Anonymous Ireland

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

Aoibhneas provides support, information and access to accommodation to women and children affected by domestic violence.

Crime Victims Helpline

Crime Victims Helpline offers support to all victims of crime in Ireland. They provide information about the criminal justice system and referrals to other resources in your community that may be able to help.

Crosscare offer a wide variety of outreach services in different locations: homeless, migrants, travellers, drugs and alcohol addiction, teen counselling, carer support and also disability awareness programmes.

Dublin Simon Community

Dublin Simon Community works to prevent and address homelessness in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. They provide services at all stages of homelessness and enable people to move to a place they can call home.

Gamblers Anonymous are a group of people who support each other and help each other recover from their gambling problem.

Gay Switchboard Ireland provides a confidential telephone support service to the LGBT+ community and allies
